im building a vocal booth in my home studio nothing to professional, do to more limitations. i wanna know if anyone has some blue prints for a cheap vocal booth. or knows some tricks to recording vocals that would be helpful... anything goes (im ghetto!!)

I\'ve always used the wardrobe/closet. buy some cheap duvets and stick them to each reflective surface.
Or if you don\'t have a closet to hand then at the very least make sure you have a duvet/soundproofing behind the singer to catch the reflections.
Try positioning the mic at different places in the room to get the brightest take. its all a bit trial and error but you can save some money and get very good results using these methods.

its people like you oxygen that make me not even want to come to this site. but i think im going to go with one of those chinese folding walls with some near field monitors so i can hear the singer in more of a live feel. but oxygen, how about you put a plastic bag over your head and see how well the name oxygen works for you after that.

ive just read that again, thats out of order. i actually tell oxygen all the time to surround himself with blankets when he\'s recording vocals for me to cut out the background noise. are you going to show me again how stupid you are and insult me like that?
